About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to support the operational delivery of sports facilities and services at the University of the West of Scotland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining effective communication with the Sport Operations Manager and Sport Operations Co-ordinator, and implementing agreed policies and procedures.

This role involves a proactive approach to assisting in the development of sports services that positively impact on the student and staff experience and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering gym inductions and small group fitness sessions
  • Creating tailored fitness programmes
  • Administration duties
  • Cleaning and maintenance tasks

Requirements:

  • HNC qualification in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of sports, leisure and recreation and associated user groups
  • Basic computer literacy/IT skills and/or ability to use specialist software
  • Experience of working in a customer-focused role
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality service and supporting an outstanding user experience
