Job Title: Assistant Commercial Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Commercial Manager to join our team at CV Library. As an Assistant Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial and contractual matters of fit out and refurbishment projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Commercial Support: Assist the commercial manager or commercial director in controlling commercial and contractual matters of fit out and refurbishment projects.
  2. Project Management: Work alongside the project manager and wider team to ensure profitable and successful projects.
  3. Document Preparation: Assist in producing necessary documents to ensure prompt costing of change, secure instructions, and maximise commercial opportunities.
  4. Record Keeping: Generate and maintain relevant records, accurate filing, and support for all commercial functions.
  5. Financial Management: Assist in preparing valuations, cashflows, and forecast final accounts.
  6. Cost Control: Assist in ensuring cost control within projects, including preliminary expenditure.
  7. Subcontractor Management: Assist in preparing robust subcontractor orders and awarding them to the supply chain.
  8. Cashflow Management: Assist in producing fortnightly cashflows for each project.
  9. Training and Development: Undertake relevant training as required by our business.
  10. Supply Chain Management: Monitor the supply chain's performance and protect the business from disputes.
