Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned HR leader to join our team at Handy Recruit as a Head of HR/People. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for shaping and driving the HR strategy for our growing clients in the creative industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement HR Strategies: Design and execute comprehensive HR strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring a positive impact on employee engagement and organizational performance.
  • Lead and Manage the HR Team: Oversee the HR team, ensuring efficient and effective HR operations, and provide strategic HR advice to senior management and business leaders.
  • Talent Acquisition and Retention: Develop and implement talent acquisition, retention, and development initiatives to attract, engage, and retain top talent in the industry.
  • Employee Engagement and Culture Transformation: Drive employee engagement and culture transformation efforts, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes collaboration and innovation.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Design and implement compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent, and align with business objectives.
  • Change Management and Organizational Development: Lead change management and organizational development projects, ensuring a smooth transition to new initiatives and processes.
  • HR Metrics and Analytics: Analyze HR metrics to inform strategic decisions and improve HR processes, ensuring data-driven decision making.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Head of HR or in a senior HR leadership role, with a strong track record of success in HR strategy development and implementation.
  • HR Knowledge and Expertise: Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to analyze complex HR issues and develop effective solutions.
  • CIPD Qualification: CIPD qualification or equivalent is highly desirable, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development and expertise in HR.
