Transport Administrator Role

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Transport Administrator to join our team in the Stoke-on-Trent area. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient transportation of goods and services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the transport team, including completing paperwork, filing, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Transport Coordination: Coordinate transportation services, plan routes, and assign drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with the transport team to achieve individual and team goals, and participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with transport legislation.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a transport office or similar environment is desirable.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and planning skills, and experience using IT systems, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
