We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Operations Coordinator to join our team at EMED Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating patient transport services to ensure timely and efficient collection and delivery of patients between destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate daily and future bookings within our Cleric controlling system, ensuring resourcing is correct and all sub-contractor, taxi, and volunteer information is up-to-date.
  • Dispatch and manage operational crews to achieve contractual targets and ensure timely and efficient collection and delivery of patients.
  • Receive and respond to patient transport requests and queries in a polite and effective manner, ensuring compliance with relevant service procedures and standing orders.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including data input, completing ad-hoc forms and invoices as necessary, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborate with other agencies, such as GPs, Nursing Homes, Hospital Clinics, and Wards, to ensure seamless patient flow and resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience of dealing with customers or members of the public.
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
