About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Old Age Psychiatrist to join our team at Medacs. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric services to older patients and those with similar needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs.
  • Provide expert clinical guidance and support to junior doctors and other healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare teams to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of services.
Requirements
  • MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) or equivalent.
  • 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
