About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the freedom to provide high-quality care and treatment to patients with complex mental health needs. As a Consultant Old Age Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with a range of mental health conditions, including dementia, depression, and anxiety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for patients
  • Provide expert clinical guidance and support to junior doctors and other healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and treatment
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in old age psychiatry
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) or equivalent qualification
  • At least 6 months of recent NHS experience within the last 3 years
