As a Regional Admissions Co-ordinator at HC-One, you will play a pivotal role in driving new and existing business into our care homes across the region. Your primary objective will be to build and sustain high occupancy levels, aligning with our commercial strategy and emphasizing private pay admissions and public pay admissions with a 3rd party top-up.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Design and execute sales, marketing, and awareness programs to elevate the profile of our care homes within the local community, focusing on the target market with the means to be private fee payers.
  • Present and Share Ideas: Present revenue growth ideas to AD & CBP to deliver overall Area occupancy growth.
  • Monitor and Report Barriers: Identify and report any barriers leading to lost revenue opportunities.
  • Generate Resident Enquiries: Network in the local community to generate resident enquiries, supporting them throughout the process from initial contact to admission.
  • Organize Events: Plan and execute events in care homes to attract local private pay residents and position our homes as first-choice care options.
  • Local Networking: Establish relationships with local public opinion leaders, influencers, and referrers, building a contacts database to support your promotional efforts.
  • Community Outreach: Identify local community publications read by our target audience and leverage them for promotional purposes.
  • Support Care Home Managers: Collaborate with Care Home Managers to maintain high standards in presentation, public areas, and resident areas.
  • Visitor Care Home Tours: Plan and ensure high-standard, quality view bedrooms are available for tours.
  • Collaborate with Central Marketing: Work with the central marketing team to arrange advertising, mailshots, and local awareness campaigns generating enquiries across supported care homes.
  • Enquiry Management: Support Home Administrators in managing care home enquiries, ensuring effective capture and follow-up.
  • Community Visits: Visit local health and social care settings, community organizations, and influencers to build relationships generating enquiries.
  • Wellbeing Coordination: Work closely with wellbeing coordinators to organize events benefiting residents, researching local advertorial opportunities for maximum exposure.
  • Staff Training: Provide training on delivering expected standards, ensuring staff are equipped to handle resident and family concerns.
  • Social Media Content: Generate content for home-level social media pages, building links and awareness.
  • Newsletter Support: Assist wellbeing coordinators in producing the home newsletter.
  • Training and Development: Provide training on 'how to take a good enquiry' and 'how to arrange and deliver a professional tour of the home.'
  • Care Home Reviews: Generate care home reviews.
  • Financial Monitoring: Monitor daily financial budgets, occupancy, and enquiries, completing weekly/monthly reports detailing day-to-day movements and their impact on enquiries/occupancy/financial status.
  • Positive News Stories: Generate positive news stories and write-ups for sign-up and sign-off.
  • Management Information: Monitor and interpret management information, undertaking comprehensive analysis to highlight commercial successes and opportunities.
