Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead our engineering and maintenance operations. As Head of Engineering Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring that all engineering and maintenance needs are met, and that our facilities are always in top condition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Engineering and Maintenance Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our engineering and maintenance teams, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Identify and Address Training Needs: Work with team members to identify training needs and develop plans to address them, ensuring that all staff have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Conduct Routine Spot Checks: Regularly inspect equipment and facilities to ensure that they are in good working order and meet our high standards.
  • Deliver Engineering Provision: Ensure that our engineering provision meets departmental objectives, and that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained.
  • Promote a Positive Image: Foster a positive and professional image of our company by responding promptly and politely to guest requests and inquiries.
  • Manage Requests: Manage requests from guests and team members in a helpful and courteous manner, ensuring that all needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Lead a Large Maintenance Team: Have experience leading a large maintenance team, with a proven track record of success in this area.
  • Be Hands-on and Strong with Stakeholder Management: Be hands-on and strong in stakeholder management, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with guests, team members, and other stakeholders.

  • Have Previous Experience: Have previous experience as a Chief Engineer or Maintenance Manager in a similar-sized hotel or hospitality company.
