Compensation: £11.44 per hour

This role involves reporting to the Fleet Systems Coordinator and encompasses workshop service reception and associated administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for all internal and external inquiries, managing communications via telephone and email in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Coordinate the booking of fleet assets and mobile equipment with the Workshop Technical Manager and Shift Team Leaders.
  • Utilize various information systems to ensure timely and accurate updates of necessary data.
  • Prepare reports and data as requested by the Fleet Systems Coordinator, including data extraction from systems such as FMIS Tranman, Jigsaw bulk fuel system, and Masternaut GPS tracking.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including filing, managing correspondence, and data entry as directed by the Fleet Systems Coordinator.
  • Assign minor tasks to technicians, monitor progress, and address or escalate queries in the absence of Team Leaders.
  • Manage external vehicle short-term hire arrangements, including coordinating vehicle delivery and conducting pre and post-hire inspections.

Essential Qualifications:

Candidates must demonstrate relevant experience in the following areas:

  1. Providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients through various communication channels.
  2. Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel, along with experience in maintaining specialized IT systems.
  3. Executing a variety of administrative tasks, including filing, handling correspondence, and data entry.
