Position Overview:

The Quality Improvement Officer for Adult Social Care is a pivotal role aimed at enhancing the quality of services within the adult social care sector across Essex. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments and generate detailed reports to evaluate service quality.
  • Provide expert consultancy to social care providers, guiding them on enhancing service quality to improve client outcomes.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to explore innovative solutions for service delivery that offer greater choices to adults.
  • Identify and address care delivery issues that do not meet established standards, offering support for quality enhancement.
  • Deliver specialized advice during safeguarding activities to ensure the safety and well-being of service users.
  • Compile reports on service delivery standards to assist in fulfilling safeguarding responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance with external regulations and contractual obligations, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Leverage best practices and insights from other organizations to enhance professional knowledge and drive service improvements.
  • Oversee daily operations within the quality function, fostering skill development among team members.
  • Analyze trends in care delivery and share insights with commissioning teams to inform future strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Level equivalent education or relevant experience with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Experience in a social care environment, demonstrating a track record of ensuring quality service delivery.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups and build strong professional relationships.
  • Solid understanding of quality standards, analytical skills, and organizational development, with practical application experience.

Mobility Requirement:
