We are seeking an experienced and skilled Adult Social Care Trainer to join our team at Essex County Council. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to support the development of our staff.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver training programs to meet the needs of our staff, including developing and maintaining training materials and resources.
- Conduct training needs analysis to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted training solutions.
- Project manage the implementation of new training initiatives and systems, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to our operations.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our staff and stakeholders.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to staff to support their professional development and improve their skills and knowledge.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leads and subject matter experts, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Level 4 Award in Education and Training or equivalent (PTLLS)
- Educated to A level or equivalent by experience
- Evidence of continuing professional development and expert knowledge in relevant professional area
- Experience of delivering training and developing training materials as necessary to meet changing business needs
- Experience of supporting the maintenance of data to facilitate and deliver training
- Evidence of awareness and knowledge of statutory and compliance requirements, including awareness of equality and discrimination legislation to ensure courses and training address such concerns
