Job Title: Adult Social Care Trainer

We are seeking an experienced Adult Social Care Trainer to join our team at Essex County Council. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to our staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent care and support to our service users.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional care and support services. As an Adult Social Care Trainer, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering training programs for our staff, including workshops, coaching sessions, and online training modules.
  • Conducting training needs analysis to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted training solutions.
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts to develop and review training materials and ensure they meet the needs of our staff.
  • Providing feedback and coaching to staff to support their professional development and improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Project managing the implementation of new training initiatives and systems, ensuring they are rolled out effectively and efficiently.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 4 Award in Education and Training or equivalent.
  • Experience of delivering training and developing training materials, with a focus on adult social care and support services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
