Job Title: Adult Social Care Trainer

We are seeking an experienced Adult Social Care Trainer to join our team at Essex County Council. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to our staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent care and support to our service users.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional care and support. As an Adult Social Care Trainer, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering training programs to meet the needs of our staff and service users
  • Conducting training needs analysis to identify areas for improvement
  • Designing and delivering training plans to meet changing business needs
  • Ensuring that training rooms are properly prepared and maintained for use by staff
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to business leads on developing new practices, systems, and processes
  • Project managing the implementation of new practices, systems, and processes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 4 Award in Education and Training or equivalent
  • Experience of delivering training and developing training materials to meet changing business needs
  • Knowledge of statutory and compliance requirements, including awareness of equality and discrimination legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A driving license and access to a vehicle (or ability to meet mobility requirements through other means)
