About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Assistant to join our team at Approach Personnel Ltd. As a Payroll Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's accounts and bookkeeping processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for subcontractors and staff using software such as Sage
  • Review timesheets to ensure accurate shift records and payments
  • Answer phone calls and respond to customer, supplier, and subcontractor enquiries
  • Perform general administrative duties, including filing, photocopying, and managing records/reports
  • Manage supplier information and invoices, process PO information, and monitor contracts

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the shopfitting industry or an adjacent industry is highly beneficial
  • Proven experience in a Payroll, Bookkeeping, or Accounts Administration role
  • Proficient in the use of payroll software such as Sage
  • Excellent communication and computer skills

Working Arrangements:

This is a part-time role, requiring two days in the office. The successful candidate will be paid hourly, with a salary of £29,000 pro rata.
