Avidity Science is seeking a dedicated HR Administrative Coordinator to support our dynamic EMEA operations. This position presents a unique opportunity to be a key contributor to our HR team, working closely with the Head of HR to enhance our human resources function.

Role Overview

In this role, you will play a vital part in the daily management of HR activities within our innovative Life and Biomedical Sciences organization. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of HR functions, serving employees across the EMEA region, including the UK, France, and Germany, while also engaging in global HR projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a reliable point of contact for employees, addressing HR-related inquiries and providing accurate information.
  • Maintain comprehensive employee records in both physical and digital formats.
  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits and rewards programs.
  • Support the recruitment process by advertising job openings, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and participating in recruitment events.
  • Facilitate talent development initiatives, including organizing training sessions for staff.
  • Assist management in addressing employee grievances and disciplinary matters with sensitivity.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring compliance and a smooth induction experience.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of HR policies and procedures.
  • Promote employee engagement through social and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Assist with payroll preparation and related tasks.
  • Support off-boarding processes, including conducting exit interviews.
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for the Head of HR and senior management.
  • Contribute to internal communications, including newsletters and content for the intranet.
  • Assist in the management of the company vehicle fleet.
  • Participate in regional and global HR projects as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in managing the employee lifecycle with a strong focus on employee relations.
  • A collaborative mindset, self-motivation, and a proactive attitude.
  • CIPD qualification or degree-level education is beneficial but not required.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
  • Organized and methodical approach to tasks.
  • Proficient in IT and adaptable to various systems.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with payroll processing.
  • Proficiency in French and/or German, along with knowledge of employment laws in these regions, is an advantage.
