Join our dedicated team as a Community Housing Specialist, serving the Southampton and Hampshire region.

In this role, you will play a vital part in our mission to provide outstanding, customer-focused services within your assigned area. Your efforts will ensure that our offerings are responsive, proactive, and inclusive, reflecting our core values.

Key Responsibilities:

You will deliver a professional and high-quality mixed tenure service to our clients, utilizing your expertise to address a variety of housing management issues. These may include challenges related to anti-social behaviour, housing and community concerns, breaches of contract, fraud, and safeguarding matters.

Your contributions will be essential in maintaining safe neighbourhoods, as you listen to the needs of our clients and implement necessary changes. You will balance your caseload with various projects, fostering sustainable communities that promote an inclusive atmosphere for all.

This position offers a blend of remote and office work, with a base at our Greenham office. The role requires a commitment of 18.5 hours per week, with flexible shift options available.

A DBS check will be conducted for the selected candidate.

What You Bring:

  • Experience: Demonstrated success in providing responsive landlord services and managing tenancies in a comparable position.
  • Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of tenancy, lease, and community management.
  • Communication Skills: Proficient in building trust, respect, and facilitating positive change.
  • Team Collaboration: Experience in working across teams and organizations to address complex customer needs.
  • Digital Proficiency: Familiarity with digital tools and platforms.
  • Professional Development: Membership in a professional organization such as CIH is advantageous.
