Job Brief

We are seeking an experienced National Sales Manager to play a key role in driving sales growth and expanding our customer base. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and capitalize on existing customer opportunities to maximize revenue growth
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to acquire new customers and expand our market share
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Negotiate and close purchase orders and agreements with key customers
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with the sales team to share best practices and drive sales growth
  • Provide regular updates to the company board on sales performance and market trends
Requirements and Skills
  • Proven experience in a senior sales or business development role, preferably in the timber industry
  • Strong understanding of the new house building market and key players
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze sales performance metrics and make data-driven decisions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
  • IT literate and proficient in using software to prepare prices and analyze sales data
