Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Caretaker Assistant to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients in the London area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting and Liaising: You will report to the Estate Services Coordinator and Quality Assurance Officers, and liaise with management and staff at the Area Offices to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: You will be responsible for completing daily management control information and other documentation as required, and maintaining accurate records of complaints, incidents, and other important events.
  • Incident Reporting: You will report contravening of tenancy regulations by tenants, abandoned vehicles, and other incidents to the Area Office/Housing Department as necessary.
  • Lighting Maintenance: You will be responsible for maintaining the lighting of communal areas to ensure a safe and secure environment for our clients.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: You must demonstrate a reasonable standard of literacy and numeracy, and have some experience of cleaning or caretaking duties (paid/unpaid).
  • Skills: You must be able to carry out cleaning duties working alone or within teams, deal with complaints of disrepair, negotiate a congenial paired working arrangement with an assigned caretaker, and react to and deal with emergency situations.

Important Notes:

  • You must be available to work immediately or at short notice.
  • You must have the right to work in the UK.
  • This role requires a Basic DBS.
