Brackenberry Ltd is collaborating with a Local Authority to recruit a Mobile Caretaker - Relief Services for a temporary engagement. This role is essential for maintaining the quality of living across various estates.

Compensation: £21.42 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work under the guidance of the Estate Services Coordinator and Quality Assurance Officer, ensuring effective communication with management and staff.
  • Provide caretaking support across multiple estates as directed, often on short notice.
  • Collaborate with fellow caretakers to execute tasks assigned by supervisors or management.
  • Assist in the distribution of supplies and equipment, including loading and unloading vehicles.
  • Complete daily management reports and maintain necessary documentation.
  • Record tenant complaints and report significant incidents to the relevant departments.
  • Monitor and report any violations of tenancy agreements.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in literacy and numeracy.
  • Previous experience in cleaning or caretaking roles is advantageous.

Essential Skills:

  • Capability to perform cleaning tasks independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to address and resolve maintenance complaints.
  • Skill in establishing a cooperative working relationship with assigned caretakers.
  • Competence in responding to emergencies, including fire and flood situations.
  • Ability to provide concise reports regarding emergencies or unusual incidents.

Additional Information:

  • Immediate availability or short notice readiness is required.
  • Right to work in the U.K. is essential.
  • A basic DBS check is mandatory for this position.
