Brackenberry Ltd is collaborating with a Local Authority to recruit a Mobile Caretaker - Relief Services for a temporary position, with the potential for extension based on client needs. We invite qualified candidates to submit their CVs for consideration.
Compensation: £21.42 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Report to the Estate Services Coordinator and the Quality Assurance Officer, ensuring effective communication with management and staff.
- Provide caretaking support across various estates as directed, often with little notice.
- Collaborate with fellow caretaking personnel to execute tasks assigned by supervisors.
- Assist in the management of supplies and equipment, including loading and unloading vehicles.
- Complete daily management control documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Document tenant complaints and report significant incidents such as fire or flooding to the appropriate department.
- Monitor and report any breaches of tenancy agreements.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated proficiency in literacy and numeracy.
- Previous experience in cleaning or caretaking roles, whether paid or voluntary.
Essential Skills:
- Capability to perform cleaning tasks independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to address and resolve complaints regarding property disrepair.
- Skill in establishing a cooperative working relationship with assigned caretakers, aligned with service requirements.
- Competence in responding to emergencies, including fire, flooding, and equipment failures.
- Ability to provide concise reports on emergencies or unusual incidents.
Additional Information:
- Immediate availability or readiness to work on short notice is required.
- Eligibility to work in the U.K. is mandatory.
- A basic DBS check is a prerequisite for this role.
