Job Title: Senior Manager Data Centre Operations

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Data Centre Operations team in Gloucester. As a key member of our site engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical and operational services to our client's critical Data Centre facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical and operational leadership to the Data Centre team, ensuring effective service delivery and compliance with health and safety, technical, and financial requirements.
  • Develop and implement personal development and succession plans to drive a culture of continuous improvement and team development.
  • Manage reactive engineering spend within the Data Centre Operation, aligning with budget expectations and working closely with the UK Critical Engineering Lead.
  • Support the supply chain review process and contribute to the UK Wide Engineering Supply Chain strategy.
  • Lead the onsite implementation of the Optima Critical Governance Manual, providing technical support to the production and implementation of CEOP, EOP, SOP, SMP, and Scenario Training.
  • Drive standards and implementation of best practice, adhering to employer and contractual governance through site and desktop-based reviews.
  • Support the development of enhanced self-delivery strategies within the site engineering team.
  • Provide support and direction to the site operations team in effective resolution of engineering-related risks items.
Requirements:
  • Clear experience in a critical environment, such as Data Centres, Hospitals, or MoD sites.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality technical and operational services.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
