About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team on a fixed-term basis. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with their learning and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality learning support to students with varying needs, including those with learning difficulties, disabilities, and special educational needs.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that students receive the best possible support and guidance.
  • Assist students with their daily routines, including personal care and hygiene.
  • Support students in the classroom, including helping with lessons, activities, and homework.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual learning plans for students.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure that students receive a comprehensive and inclusive education.
Requirements
  • Level 2 (at least) qualification in both Maths and English, or a willingness to gain.
  • Experience working with students with varying needs and abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
