About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Heart of Worcestershire College. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with their learning and providing a high-quality pro-active support service to learners who have learning support requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide learning support that contributes to an outstanding student experience from the start of their college journey to progression into further study, employment or greater independence.
  • Work directly with Curriculum Staff, Personal Tutors and Personal Learning Coaches and other business support areas to ensure support proactively engages learners and their social, emotional and learning needs are met.
  • Comply with relevant performance monitoring and evaluation systems across the department to ensure quality of provision.
Requirements
  • Level 2 (at least) qualification in both Maths and English, or a willingness to gain.
  • Level 2/3 qualification in Learning Support.
