European Director of Human Capital Operations

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Human Capital Operations to join our team at Oliver Wyman. As a key member of our Human Capital Operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing all Human Capital Operations activities across the European region.
Key Responsibilities- Provide proactive leadership and strategic thinking to align Human Capital initiatives with organizational and client objectives.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including European Region Heads, COO, and Director of Talent, to ensure high client satisfaction and maintain a high level of Human Capital subject matter knowledge.
- Develop and implement effective Human Capital strategies and solutions to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Lead and manage a team of HR professionals to deliver high-quality Human Capital services and support.
- Advise business leaders on Human Capital matters and advocate for Human Capital policy or other initiatives.
- Manage a team and provide guidance on Human Capital operational activities, including benefits, payroll, tax, and employment law.
- At least 15 years of UK & European HR Generalist experience.
- Strong Employee Relations experience is essential.
- 10 years of leadership/management experience - leading projects and HR teams, advising business leaders on Human Capital matters, advocating for Human Capital policy or other initiatives, and managing a team.
- Your experience will have been gained from the management consulting, professional services, or the financial services sectors.
- Solid knowledge of HR operational activities (benefits, payroll, tax, employment law).
- A CIPD qualification and/or a Law degree (with focus on employment law) is preferred.
