About the Role

Oliver Wyman, a global leader in management consulting, is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the position of Director of Human Capital Operations for our European offices. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for European Region Heads, COO, and Director of Talent on matters involving Human Capital Operations, particularly Employee Relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all Human Capital Operations activities across the European region, ensuring strategic alignment with organizational and client initiatives.
  • Provide proactive leadership, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure high client satisfaction and maintain a high level of Human Capital subject matter knowledge.
  • Work closely with the Director of Talent in Europe to align Human Capital initiatives with broader business goals.
  • Develop and implement effective HR operational activities, including benefits, payroll, tax, and employment law.
  • Manage a team, leading projects and advising business leaders on Human Capital matters.
Requirements
  • At least 15 years of UK & European HR Generalist experience.
  • Strong Employee Relations experience is essential.
  • 10 years of leadership/management experience, leading projects and HR teams, advising business leaders on Human Capital matters.
  • Experience gained from the management consulting, professional services, or financial services sectors.
  • Solid knowledge of HR operational activities.
  • CIPD qualification and/or a Law degree (with focus on employment law) is preferred.
