Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automotive Aerodynamics Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on the design of aerodynamic components for various applications, including wind tunnel models, full-scale race cars, and research and development prototypes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of all wind tunnel models, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and company standards.
  • Develop and implement innovative design solutions to enhance aerodynamic performance.
  • Collaborate closely with Lead Aerodynamics Design Engineers to provide regular progress updates on projects.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in CAD software and related technologies, utilizing them effectively for design tasks.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced designers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development.

Core Skills and Experience

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in automotive aerodynamics design, preferably within the motorsport industry.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software, particularly UG NX.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
