The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerodynamics Project Manager to collaborate closely with our Principal Aerodynamicists and lead a team of experienced engineers. This role primarily involves fostering an environment for the team to generate innovative aerodynamic solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement aerodynamic strategies to achieve project goals
  • Present findings and concepts clearly and concisely to encourage discussion and exchange of ideas
  • Mentor and empower less-experienced team members
  • Organize and conduct efficient wind tunnel test sessions at our state-of-the-art on-site test facility
  • Drive collaboration, technical innovation, and excellence in development projects
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous enhancement across all aspects of our operations
  • Maintain positive relationships and transparent communication within the department and across the team

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in F1 aerodynamic development
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across functions/departments
  • Demonstrated capability in developing junior team members
  • Thorough understanding of aerodynamics principles
  • Familiarity with various CFD techniques, including unconventional models
  • Proficiency in CAD for aerodynamic surface design
