We are thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity to become a vital part of our team at The Avalon Group. In this role, you will report directly to the Locality Manager (Registered Manager) and will be instrumental in overseeing our well-established service in Doncaster. Additionally, you will be involved in our innovative Shared Lives program, where trained caregivers provide a supportive home environment for individuals with various needs, whether for short or long-term stays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a dedicated team of Support Workers and Shared Lives Carers in the Doncaster area.
  • Oversee daily operations of a customer caseload, ensuring that assessments, reviews, and ongoing personalized outcomes are achieved.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and The Avalon Group's quality assurance standards, including conducting audits related to finance and medication.
  • Drive continuous improvement of services by fostering positive relationships with our clients and collaborating effectively with service commissioners and care managers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven management experience within the social care sector, particularly in leading a team.
  • Ability to understand and implement CQC fundamental standards of quality and safety.
  • Strong IT proficiency.
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle for business purposes.
  • Willingness to work from our office and engage with local services.
  • Flexibility to participate in the out-of-hours on-call service.
