We are seeking an experienced Archives and Records Management Specialist to join our team at Help Me Settle Ltd. As an Archives and Records Management Specialist, you will play a key role in enabling and enhancing access to our archival collections, both within the business and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement efficient cataloguing programmes for physical and digital material.
  • Lead on improvements to cataloguing processes and records discovery using digital skills.
  • Contribute to advocacy and awareness-raising activities undertaken by the Corporate Archives.
  • Grow the breadth of the catalogue through continual cataloguing of physical and digital records.
  • Review and revise in-house cataloguing standards and guidelines to ensure they are fit for purpose.

Requirements:

  • Excellent professional understanding of archives and records management issues and relevant external standards.
  • Knowledge of relevant guidance and codes of practice issued by The National Archives and the Information Commissioner's Office.
  • Minimum 1-year experience working in an archives or records management service.
