Job Title: Registered Nurse - Nights

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Kingscourt Nursing Home. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering individualized care to our residents, as well as leading and mentoring our care team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and plan individualized care for residents, taking into account their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Deliver high-quality care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as required.
  • Lead and mentor our care team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our care team.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Strong background in nursing, with a minimum of 1 year's experience in a care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to lead and mentor our care team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
