We are seeking a motivated and skilled Bid Manager to enhance our Bid Team's performance and drive our business development initiatives.

This pivotal role focuses on leading the bid process from initial concept through to submission, ensuring that our proposals stand out in a competitive landscape.


Key Responsibilities:


Bid Process Oversight:
Oversee the complete bid lifecycle, ensuring timely submissions and compliance with both internal and external standards. Develop and refine bid protocols and governance structures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Engage actively during the presentation and negotiation phases, providing insights and feedback to improve future bids.


Team Leadership:
Build and lead a high-performing Bid Team, collaborating with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance. Conduct regular performance reviews and manage team dynamics, including training and development initiatives.
Strategic Development:
Formulate a winning strategy for each bid in partnership with the Sales lead. Contribute to the development of value propositions and participate in commercial discussions to ensure alignment with client needs.

Drive continuous improvement through thorough post-bid evaluations, both internally and with clients.


Communication and Coordination:
Prepare and assess the commercial elements of bids, ensuring all offerings are accurately represented. Manage risk assessment throughout the bidding process and coordinate client presentations effectively.

Ensure all communications are maintained through appropriate channels, keeping company information current.


Documentation and Compliance:
Contribute to the drafting of proposals, ensuring adherence to corporate branding and quality standards. Consolidate contributions from team members into a cohesive tender format and maintain an organized tender library.
Candidate Profile:

To excel in this role, you should possess a proven track record in bid management, showcasing successful outcomes and a comprehensive understanding of bid management methodologies.

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Strong commercial acumen and risk management expertise.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
