Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Registered General Nurse to join our team at Westgate House Care Centre in Ware, Hertfordshire. As a Registered General Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, psychological, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as needed.
  • Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and develop care plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive comprehensive care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and compassion.

Requirements:

  • Recognized qualification as a Registered General Nurse.
  • Valid and current NMC registration and PIN.
  • Good written communication skills and the ability to lead a team.
  • A compassionate and caring nature, a positive attitude, and a flexible work ethic.
