Nurse Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered General Nurse to join our team at Westgate House Care Centre in Ware, Hertfordshire. As a compassionate and caring nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our elderly residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional care to residents, addressing their physical, psychological, and social needs.
  • Support the Home Manager in implementing policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and respectful environment.
  • Collaborate with medical, social, and other care workers to ensure residents receive comprehensive care.
  • Adhere to infection control policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Work in accordance with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) guidelines, NMC code of conduct, and relevant legislation.

Requirements:

  • Valid and current NMC registration and PIN.
  • Recognised qualification as a Registered General Nurse.
  • Good written communication skills and the ability to lead a team.
  • A compassionate and caring nature, a positive attitude, and a flexible work ethic.
