Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Registered General Nurse to join our team at Westgate House Care Centre in Ware, Hertfordshire. As a Registered General Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical, psychological, and social care to our residents, ensuring their needs are met and their dignity is respected.
  • Support the Home Manager in implementing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure residents have access to necessary medical, social, and other care services.
  • Maintain knowledge of infection control policies and procedures, adhering to Department of Health and company guidelines at all times.
  • Work in accordance with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) guidelines, NMC code of conduct, and relevant legislation.

Requirements:

  • Right to live and work in the UK.
  • Recognized qualification as a Registered General Nurse.
  • Valid and current NMC registration and PIN.
  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to lead a team.
  • Compassionate and caring nature, positive attitude, and flexible work ethic.
