Registered General Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Registered General Nurse to join our team at Westgate House Care Centre in Ware, Hertfordshire.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position, offering a competitive hourly rate of £18 to £23, plus paid handover. The successful candidate will work 39 hours per week, with shifts available across Monday to Sunday, from 7.45am to 8pm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, psychological, and social needs are met.
  • Support the Home Manager in implementing policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to infection control guidelines and relevant legislation.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure residents have access to key medical, social, and other care workers as required.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and respectful attitude, promoting a culture of care and compassion within the care centre.

Requirements
  • Recognised qualification as a Registered General Nurse.
  • Valid and current NMC registration and PIN.
  • Good written communication skills and the ability to lead a team.
  • A compassionate and caring nature, a positive attitude, and a flexible work ethic.
