Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to the ADHD Nurse Team, ensuring an effective service is delivered to all relevant service users.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist in the provision of a comprehensive, efficient administrative and clerical support service to the City and County ADHD/Behaviour Nurses.
  • Typing and preparation of information, including correspondence and reports, which may contain confidential and sensitive material.
  • Provide confidential telephone cover for the ADHD/Behaviour Specialist Nurses and Admin team.
  • Work on own initiative, prioritizing and delivering a service that covers a vast geographical area.
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with the following qualifications and skills:

  • Essential GCSE English Grade C or equivalent qualification or demonstrable experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages and audio typing.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritize workload to the required standards within defined time limits.
  • Ability to use own initiative within procedural guidelines and work as a good team member.
