Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will provide comprehensive and efficient administrative support to our ADHD team, ensuring an effective service is delivered to all relevant service users.

Main Responsibilities

Typing and preparation of information, including correspondence and reports, with confidentiality and sensitivity in mind.

Providing confidential telephone cover for our ADHD team and accurately taking and relaying messages.

Prioritising and delivering a service that covers a vast geographical area, requiring organisational and communication skills.

Person Specification

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • GCSE English and a typing qualification (RSA/CLAIT/IBT2 or equivalent)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages and audio typing skills

Desirable Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous NHS experience and knowledge of Health terminology
