Job Overview

The Administrative Support role at Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive administrative support to the ADHD Nurse Team. As an integral member of the team, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth delivery of our services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the ADHD Nurse Team, including typing and preparation of information, correspondence, and reports.
  • Offer confidential telephone cover for the ADHD/Behaviour Specialist Nurses and Admin when necessary, accurately taking and relaying messages and addressing all enquiries made by service users.
  • Work on own initiative, prioritising and delivering a service that covers a vast geographical area, requiring organisational skills and communication skills to co-ordinate the service from an admin perspective.
  • Support the admin lead in administration tasks, telephone call backs, letters, and anything deemed within the banding.
  • Undertake any other appropriate duties as may be delegated from time to time by Nominated Supervisor/Manager.

Person Specification

  • Essential qualifications include GCSE English, RSA/CLAIT/IBT2 typing, and ECDL or equivalent IT qualification/demonstrable experience
  • Desirable qualifications include previous NHS experience, knowledge of the TPP SystemOne Database, and experience of working in children's services
