Job Overview

We are seeking an Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to our ADHD Nurse Team, ensuring an effective service is given to all relevant service users.

Main Duties

  • Assist in the provision of a comprehensive, efficient administrative and clerical support service to the City and County ADHD/Behaviour Nurses.
  • Provide confidential telephone cover for the ADHD/Behaviour Specialist Nurses and Admin when necessary.
  • Work on own initiative, prioritising and delivering a service that covers a vast geographical area.

Person Specification

Essential Criteria

  • GCSE English Grade C or equivalent qualification or demonstrable experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages and Audio Typing.

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous NHS experience.
  • Knowledge of Health terminology.
