Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Parts Manager to enhance our operations at Recruit Central Limited.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the leadership of a team of Parts Advisors and Delivery Drivers to ensure exceptional service for all customers.
  • Oversee stock levels to guarantee sufficient inventory is maintained and that proper procedures are adhered to for the identification and storage of parts.
  • Review and analyze parts reports, manage departmental expenses, and handle debt effectively.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety within both the storage and retail areas of the Parts Department.
  • Contribute to the development of sales initiatives and work alongside the Marketing team and Aftersales Manager to promote relevant marketing efforts.
  • Conduct regular inventory assessments and manage stock levels efficiently.

The ideal candidate for the Assistant Parts Manager role will possess the following qualifications:

  • Strong leadership capabilities in guiding a team of Parts Advisors and Delivery Drivers.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial reports and manage departmental budgets.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with a professional appearance.
  • Proficient in IT, with a working knowledge of Kerridge being a plus.
  • Previous experience in a similar capacity within the automotive sector is preferred.

This position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, with a rotational system to ensure coverage during business hours. Additionally, there will be a requirement to work one Saturday every three weeks.
