Job Description

Part-time Finance Manager

We are representing a growing organisation seeking a dedicated and experienced Finance Manager to join the team on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Reporting: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation.
  2. Management Accounts: Prepare and present monthly management accounts.
  3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  4. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  5. Cash Flow Management: Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
  6. Tax Compliance: Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  7. Payroll Processing: Assist with payroll processing and related financial activities.
  8. Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
  9. Annual Audits: Liaise with external auditors and manage annual audits.
  10. Financial Regulations: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Proven experience as a bookkeeper or management accountant.
  2. Accounting Knowledge: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  4. Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  5. Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Accounting Qualifications: Relevant accounting qualifications (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) are preferred but not essential.
