Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing learning materials to support students' educational journey
  • Organising classroom activities to promote engagement and participation
  • Providing essential emotional and physical support to help students thrive as individuals
  • Leading classroom activities and facilitating outdoor adventures to promote learning and development
  • Supervising students during exploratory outings to ensure their safety and well-being
Requirements
  • Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum)
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of students with complex needs
  • A genuine passion for supporting pupils with Autism
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Enhanced DBS clearance and registration to the DBS Update Service
