Primary School SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Rugby. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teacher in the classroom, ensuring the learning objectives are met and general classroom tasks are completed.
  • Work with students with SEND, providing individualized support and adapting your approach to meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement effective learning strategies.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting social and emotional well-being.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in Key Stage 1/ KS1 or Key Stage 2/ KS2.
  • Strong passion for supporting students with SEND and a commitment to inclusive education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Desirable: SEND experience/knowledge and qualifications in education or a related field.
