About the Role

We are seeking a talented Communications Specialist to join our team at SRG. As a Communications Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting internal and external communication activities for Sandoz UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of the external communications strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Plan, draft, and design corporate communication content, including company LinkedIn posts, website content, and other materials.
  • Coordinate day-to-day projects and liaise with business units to deliver communications activities, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  • Work closely with an agency on social media campaigns to grow the company's online presence.
  • Lead on communication projects, taking on increasing responsibility as your capability develops.
  • Support with media outreach, PR, and media monitoring, ensuring the company's message is effectively communicated to stakeholders.
  • Support the adoption of the company's new branding among UK colleagues, ensuring a consistent and cohesive image.
  • Ensure all activities and materials comply with the company's P3 principles, using internal systems to maintain quality and consistency.
  • Be flexible and adaptable, taking on work across the team depending on workload and priorities.
Requirements
  • Be outgoing, confident, and able to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Be curious and driven, with a willingness to receive feedback and take on more responsibility.
  • Have strong writing skills, able to create content in different styles, including business, social media, and informal.
  • Be able to create visually appealing slides and simple graphics.
  • Have project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Have experience using social media in a sophisticated way for personal, study, social, or business purposes.
  • Desirable skills include the ability to use design software (e.g. Canva) and photography skills.
