About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide high-quality advice, information, and service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Station Environment: Maintain a safe and attractive retail station environment, adhering to company procedures and guidelines.
  • Train Operations: Participate in the safe running of trains and a safe station environment, following established procedures and protocols.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Promote relevant marketing literature and useful information to our customers, enhancing their experience and engagement.
Requirements
  • Customer Focus: Demonstrate a proactive customer approach, passion, and ability to support the team in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Communication Skills: Possess exceptional levels of customer service, effective communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Show demonstrable experience of managing customers effectively in difficult environments, with the ability to make decisions in a customer-focused manner.
  • Availability: Be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, and live in the local area to ensure timely attendance.
