This role involves collaborating with various sectors within the firm, providing vital support to our HR initiatives and engaging with team members across the organization.

The HR department is composed of 11 professionals, and you will report directly to the Head of HR. Throughout your apprenticeship, you will receive guidance and support to achieve a qualification that aligns with your skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Acting as the initial point of contact for HR inquiries across all offices through various communication channels.
  • Generating correspondence related to employment matters, including contract changes and performance management.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and managing the HR filing system.
  • Assisting with the administration of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Tracking and managing employee absence and liaising with HR advisors as necessary.
  • Providing support during performance management meetings and employee relations discussions.
  • Contributing to the annual salary review process and related documentation.
  • Updating HR systems with employee information and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Assisting with HR projects and general administrative tasks as required.

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

  • A strong interest in Human Resources.
  • Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and HR systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately.
  • Minimum education level of GCSE or equivalent.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a professional services environment.
  • Prior administrative experience.
