Head of Culinary Excellence

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate leader to oversee the ethos, quality, and methodology of our Food programme across the Newt Estate. As a key member of our team, you will influence ingredient and retail procurement, product and recipe development, and menus across all F&B outlets.
Key Responsibilities- Influence menu development and food offerings, ensuring consistency and quality across all restaurants and F&B outlets.
- Develop relationships with local producers, growers, and makers to source the best ingredients for our menus.
- Collaborate with our Head of Production to create and expand a high-quality range of Newt products for ecommerce, retail, and estate business.
- Oversee Head Chefs and kitchen teams, ensuring a joined-up approach to our food programme and providing mentoring, coaching, and guidance to our brigade of Estate chefs.
- Support the development of Chefs through our Chef Academy Programme and Apprenticeship programmes.
- Drive sustainability and innovation in our food programme, ensuring a forward-thinking approach to reducing waste and promoting environmentally friendly practices.
- Experience in leading and motivating large teams, with a proven track record of success.
- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
