Key Responsibilities:- Oversee all culinary operations, ensuring high-quality dishes and maintaining the highest standards of consistency and quality.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations, including allergen management.
- Train and mentor the kitchen team, focusing on development, engagement, and retention.
- Control kitchen costs, including food costs, labor, and waste, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and exceptional guest experiences.
- Participate in menu tastings, reviews, and adjustments based on guest feedback and trends.
- Ensure efficient kitchen management, cost control, and compliance with all food safety regulations, while maintaining a focus on delivering an outstanding guest experience.
- Previous experience as a Head Chef in a similar environment, ideally with hotel experience.
- Strong team management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop your team.
- Experience in managing staff costs, scheduling, and reviewing staff rotas.
- A highly creative approach to your work with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent business relationship skills.
- Commercial-minded with evidence of successfully managing costs in line with exceptional delivery.
- Experience of ensuring profit margins and targets are met or exceeded.
