Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Sister/Charge Nurse to join our Neurosciences team at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients on Ward R3, a busy and diverse outpatient Nurse-led service.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have significant experience in Neurosciences and/or an infusion service setting, with a strong clinical practice and ability to work autonomously. You will be responsible for leading the nursing team, providing mentorship and preceptorship, and ensuring that effective, high-quality care is maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on Ward R3
  • Lead the nursing team and provide mentorship and preceptorship
  • Ensure that effective, high-quality care is maintained
  • Undertake procedures such as cannulation, phlebotomy, lumbar punctures, botulinum injections, and pre-operative assessment
  • Provide health education for patients attending R3 and its services
